The lab has new and advanced signal generators and CRO’S, which makes student to learn and enhances their knowledge by providing them the better understanding of the concepts and working of advanced power semiconductor devices like SCR, IGBT, LCER, MOSFET and power electronics circuits.
This laboratory is equipped with advanced LIC kit, Digital Oscilloscope and signal generators to implement the OP-Amp and LIC applications such as Comparator, Filters, ADC/DAC,Multivibrators and so on.
Machines lab is well equipped with different machines with proper protective systems with advanced technologies. The Lab Informative Charts are available in the laboratory for the reference.
The Lab is well equipped with enough number of PC’s having latest advanced licensed software’s and MSP430 &µc programming and interfacing with Stepper Motor, Keyboard, LCD.
This lab deals with time and frequency domain responses of a given second order system using software package or discrete components, design and analyze Lead, Lag and Lag -Lead compensators, Performance characteristics of AC and DC servomotors and synchro -transmitter receiver pair, study the effect of P, PI, PD and PID controller and to study the stability of the system using a MATLab Simulator.
High Voltage Lab is well equipped with different types of protective relays along with Digital Motor Protection relay unit and 50KVA rating high voltage testing equipments are installed to test the different insulating materials and obtain different parameters.
