Bridge Course on “C Programming” was conducted with the aim to provide basic knowledge of C programming and to get practical experience of all advance concepts of C programming language. The event was conducted for 10 days from 18th Oct to 31st Oct 2021 with 24 registrations from various departments of CSE, ISE, ECE& AI/ML. The bridge course was organized in a sophisticated way to provide complete practical exposure to the students. The sessions were handled by all the faculties of AI/ML department.

Bridge Course on “C++ Programming” was conducted with the aim to provide basic knowledge of OOPs concept .The event was conducted for 5 days from 23rd May 2022 to 27th may 2022 with 13 students from AIML department. The resource persons from the department include prof. Ramya H and Prof.Prema.

SUMMARY
The Bridge Course on C++ programming was divided into 3 modules .The event started with prof.Ramya H explaining the usefulness and benefits of bridge course,then started the session with Module 1. Module 1 was completed in 2 days with practical sessions. Module 2 was started by prof.Prema C covering the topics and completed Module 3 as well.
OUTCOMES
71stConstitution Day was celebrated in the department on 26th November 2021. As the part of celebration,the importance of constitution day, fundamental rights and duties of citizen were explained to the students. Preamble is recited to the students.13 students were involved and 3rd SEM student Ma. Fiza spoke about the values and fundamental principles of our Constitution.
Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence” was conducted on 14thDec 2021 at K.M.V. Red Hills High School, with the aim to provide basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and to get overview of all applications of AI and Machine Learning.
The event was conducted for the staff of the schools and 24 teaching staff were participated. The event was organized in a sophisticated way by Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Department of AIML.
It started with introduction to AI and applications, working of AI and the technology behind AI. Introduction to Machine learning and types of ML and working of ML and exposure of various algorithms with respect to ML and at the end some fun loving real time activities related AI was performed with the participants. At the end participants questions were answered by the resource person and the session ended thanking all the participants and management for providing an opportunity for delivering the session.

Knowledge sharing session on “Microsite Creation” on Infosys Springboard Platform.
One hour Knowledge sharing session on “Microsite creation” on Infosys Springboard platform was conducted on, 21.12.2021, at 3.30pm. All the department coordinators of INFYTQ were attended the session and it was useful for the attendees.

Talk on MOOC PLATFORMS
As a part of Induction program for first year 2021 admitted students, an awareness talk on “MOOC PLATFORMS” delivered by Dr. Geetha Megharaj, on 27.12.2021 at Auditorium and was well received by the first year students and they ensured active learning on the platforms discussed.
Meeting with the Parents 3rd semester AIML Students and Teachers of the department was held on 8/1/22 at 11:00AM in online mode. The Parents, Students, HOD AIML and the all the faculty from the department were part of the meeting.
The meeting started with welcoming the parents followed by Introducing faculties to the Parents and subsequently the following agenda points were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting was concluded with parent’s feedback and vote of thanks.
An awareness session on Infosys Certification Exam was conducted for the 5th Semester students of all branches on 29th December 2021 by Dr. Geetha Megharaj, Prof. & HOD AIML.
The details of Importance of Infosys Certification, Eligibility Criteria, Examination Process, Examination pattern, Registration Process and Infosys platform for learning process were shared among the students. Students were encouraged for registrations.
National Voter’s Day is celebrated on January 25, 2011 to urge more young voters to take part in the electoral process. The theme of National Voters’ Day 2022 is “Making Elections Inclusive, Accessible and Participative”.
12th National voters day was celebrated in Department of AIML at 11.00am by taking the voters day pledge. Event was attended by 11 students.

The event was successful in educating the students about the importance of their participation in electoral process and power of their vote in Nation building.
Department of “Artificial intelligence & Machine Learning” in Association with “NDLI CLUB” Conducted a Seminar On “Artificial Intelligence: The Next Generation Technology” to all 4 th semester Students of SKIT, on Friday 21 st July 2023 at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in Class Room No- 112 Seminar Hall, ‘A’ Block. The seminar was organized in sophisticated way with the resource person delivering the session with complete exposure to students.
The meeting of parents of second year students with proctors and HOD was scheduled on 11 th Feb 2023 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. The objective of the meeting is to have interaction of the Parents with Proctors and HOD and get to know the progress of their wards.
Bridge course on “Python Programming” was conducted with the aim to provide basic knowledge on python and to get practical experience on concepts of python programming. The event was conducted for 5 days from 12 th June to 16 th June 2023 with 47 participants of AIML department.
