How do I join Habitat Club?
Any Civil Engineering student can join email Dr. Roopa D at civilhod@skit.org.in or speak to her directly as the faculty in-charge to be added ahead of the next activity.
How often does the chapter meet or run activities?
Roughly monthly, timed to feed into the IGBC report due on or before the 7th of each month though bigger activities like national ideathons happen on their own calendar.
Can I propose my own activity?
Yes - pitch it to Dr. Roopa D with the IGBC category it fits under. Most start as a small group project, like the Green Filter Project did.
What is the Excellence Award, exactly?
It’s IGBC’s recognition for the most active student chapters nationally, scored across the five categories on this page. The chapter’s monthly report is the basis for this record.
