Exam Process
Sri Krishna Institute of Technology is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The Institute follows the VTU Examination pattern.
The Examination process is carried out in two stages.
Semester End Examination [SEE]: 50 Marks
The second stage consists of Semester End Examination [SEE] which is conducted at the end of the semester as per VTU notification.
Theory SEE will be conducted by University as per the scheduled timetable, with common question papers for the subject (duration 03 hours). The question paper shall be set for 100 marks. The medium of the question paper shall be English.
The duration of SEE is 03 hours. The student has to answer for 100 marks and marks scored out of 100 shall be proportionally reduced to 50 marks.
Continuous Internal Evaluation [CIE] :50 Marks
The first stage consists of two IA and two assessment methods.
IA: Internal Question papers are prepared with CO’s and Po’s Internal Assessment Test question paper is designed to attain the per the outcome defined for the course.
Assessments: The assessments methods like Assignments/Seminar/quiz/group discussion / case study / field survey & report presentation/ course project/Skill development activities, suitably planned to attain the COs and POs of the subject for each semester.
