Functions
Establish and maintain MoUs with industries, research organizations, and corporate partners.
Organize industrial visits, guest lectures, expert talks, and industry interaction sessions for students and faculty.
Facilitate internships, in-plant training, and live industry projects in coordination with departments.
Promote industry-sponsored laboratories, Centres of Excellence, and skill development programs.
Coordinate consultancy services and collaborative research initiatives between faculty and industry.
Conduct faculty development programmes (FDPs) in collaboration with industry to upgrade technical competencies.
Encourage students to participate in industry competitions, hackathons, and certification programs.
Collect industry feedback on student performance, curriculum relevance, and skill gaps for quality improvement.
Maintain records of industry interactions and outcomes for NAAC, NBA, and NIRF documentation.
