Objectives
  • To cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among students and faculty by encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • To promote innovation and design thinking that leads to the development of sustainable technologies and solutions addressing societal and industrial challenges.

  • To provide a supportive ecosystem for ideation, incubation, and startup development within the institution.

  • To bridge the gap between academia and industry by facilitating collaborations, expert mentoring, and exposure to real-world business environments.

  • To encourage interdisciplinary research and product development that can be translated into viable enterprises.

  • To support intellectual property creation, including patents, copyrights, and technology transfer.

  • To enable access to funding opportunities through government schemes, venture capital, angel investors, and innovation grants.

  • To align institutional initiatives with national missions such as Startup India, Make in India, and innovation-driven economic growth.

Functions
  • Organize entrepreneurship awareness programmes, workshops, boot camps, and hackathons to nurture innovative thinking.

  • Conduct training on business plan development, design thinking, financial literacy, and startup management.

  • Facilitate pre-incubation and incubation support, including mentoring, workspace, and technical guidance.

  • Establish partnerships with industries, incubation centers, accelerators, and research organizations to strengthen the innovation ecosystem.

  • Identify and mentor students with high entrepreneurial potential and guide them from ideation to commercialization.

  • Assist in filing patents and protecting intellectual property, promoting a culture of research and innovation.

  • Encourage participation in national and international innovation competitions and startup challenges.

  • Track and showcase student and alumni startups, innovative projects, and success stories to enhance institutional visibility.

  • Facilitate interaction with successful entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders through guest lectures and networking events.

  • Collaborate with IQAC to document best practices, innovation metrics, and entrepreneurship outcomes for quality enhancement and accreditation.
