Dr. K. M. Venkataramana founded Sri Raghavendra Educational Institutions Society in 1992. A visionary, humanist, above all an educationist, Dr. K. M. Venkataramana is dedicated to the cause of education with a vision of excellence through renowned educational institutions, infrastructure and faculty. He led this institution to become very strong in technical education and research. Sri Krishna Institute of Technology is a nurturing ground for evolving minds. SKIT has a holistic approach and up-to-date teaching aids to ensure that education empowers young minds to excel in their chosen field.

Mrs. Sumitra Venkataramana

President - SREIS

Mrs. Sumitra Venkataramana is the inspiration behind Sri Krishna Institute of Technology. Her passion for entrepreneurship is matched by her belief that ordinary people are capable of doing extraordinary things, when organized into highly charged teams. She takes a deep interest in the education field, she understood the need for a world-class destination for learning in the Chimney Hills area. Thus, she set up SKIT as a solid foundation for young minds to develop and grow.

In today's changing times, education is ideal and very challenging for the students. I feel that under the tutelage of a group of talented as well as dedicated teachers who are constantly innovating, SKIT will work towards empowering its students to achieve high standards in both the prescribed core curriculum and in many Co-curricular activities. Dr. A. Manjunatha

Dr. A. Manjunatha graduated in Electrical Engineering from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere, Mysore University in the year 1985. He further pursued his M.E in Power Systems from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore University in the year 1992. He obtained his PhD from Dr. MGR Scientific and Research Institute, Chennai.

Dr. A. Manjunatha has been serving the teaching profession with a great devotion for 30 long years. He is well recognized for his research and has presented and published over 50 research papers in various National and International referred Journals and conferences. He is a reviewer for various reputed National and International Journals. He has presided over as session chair in various National and International conferences.

Dr. A. Manjunatha has guided one PhD student for award of PhD and currently guiding 7 research scholars in VTU and other Universities. He is adjudicator for PhD thesis for various universities across India. He holds various prestigious positions in the university including the Chairman of the Board of Examination, VTU nominee for Governing Council committee SRSIT, member BOE-UG/PG at NMIT and UVCE. He is a fellow member of various professional bodies and also a subject expert member at various prestigious engineering educational organizations.

Dr. S.V Prakash

Dr. S. V. Prakash graduated in Mechnical Engineering from Bangalore University. He further pursued his M.E in Production Management from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He obtained his PhD from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and applied for two patents for his work.

Dr. S. V. Prakash has been serving the teaching profession with a great devotion for 27 long years. He is well recognized for his research and published over 15 research papers in International Journals , 40 in National Journals and has presented 20 research papers in conferences. He is a reviewer for various reputed National and International journals. Dr. S. V. Prakash has visited USA, Germany, China and Japan for various conferences and guided students for various international project competitions across the world.

Dr. S. V. Prakash Research interests are Renewable Energy, Smart Materials, CFD, FEM and CIM. Under his guidance 4 doctorates have been awarded and is guiding 3 research scholars. He has also guided more than 100 M.Tech projects. He is a fellow member of various professional bodies.
