The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in 2001 with an intake of 60 students. It has risen for 120 in the year 2012.It is approved by the AICTE New Delhi and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka.

Our ECE Department organizing a Workshop on Integrated Chip Design Methodology, in our college on 22nd February 2013 themain objective of this workshop is to provide insight into the IC’s designing procedure, which includes detail steps involved in the design flow and also implementation process till the IC is approved for Mass Manufacture.

Advanced communications: lab has equipped with latest trainer kits need for optical fiber communications, Microwave, Antenna experiments along with tools needed for conduction Digital communication experiments, We do have new signal generators and CROS,Which makes student to learn and perform well during his practical classes.
HDL Laboratory : has the state of the art equipment and latest version of the software tools like XILINX 9.2i to facilitate student’s learning a wonderful one byproviding one computer for each student so that they can write and excute HDL programs during the practical classes.
Microcontroller Lab: The Lab is well equipped with omputer systems with tools like Keil and MSP430 software for Microcontroller programming respectively. The Lab supports adequate number of PIC kits, Microcontroller kits and interfacing cards.
