The department has well qualified and experienced faculty, with all necessary infrastructure. The department aims at preparing the students for careers in all engineering aspects and also carries out basic and applied research work. Young staff members are actively involved in research and pursuing Ph.D degree. Our staff members have expertise in the preparation of polymer materials, Schiff bases, biologically active metal complexes, transition metal coordination polymers etc.
To feed the budding engineering Students about new aspects of Chemical Science which make him to understand, exploit & innovate, thus contributing to the Technological advancement of tomorrow.

The laboratory fully equipped with sophisticated instruments which are validated and calibrated, for analyzing ore/alloys and industrial effluents. Chemical analyses include volumetric analysis as well as instrumental methods and a few of the analytical facilities such as Photoelectric calorimeters, digital pH meters, conductivity meters, flame photometers etc.
AEC & Power electronics lab :We do have new signal generators and CRO’S, which makes student to learn and perform well during practical classes.
